A conversation
worth having.
A gentle guide for your quiet time, a sister circle, or a faith-centered reading group.
Begin with grace.
Choose a passage or reflection from the book you are reading. Allow a moment of quiet. When sharing with others, invite everyone to participate at their own comfort level. Agree to respect privacy and let people pass.
Make room for honesty.
- Notice: What phrase or question stayed with you? Why?
- Reflect: What part of your own experience came to mind?
- Discern: What do you know, and what still needs prayer, clarity, or conversation?
- Respond: What is one thoughtful step you can take this week?
- Return: What would you like to revisit in your journal?
Choose your conversation.
Discernment: What have I noticed more than once? What helps me examine it honestly?
Boundaries: Where do I need to communicate a limit with clarity and care?
Inward reflection: What response or habit within me needs compassion and attention?
Close with prayer.
God, give us clear eyes, tender hearts, and courage for the next faithful step. Help us listen with care, reflect with honesty, and make room for the growth You are calling us toward. Amen.
